New play series
Full Circle is consistently trying to innovate and shape offerings in our community, and this exciting new offering does just that. With our New Play Series, FCTC partners with local professional playwrights looking to produce a production or staged reading of their play, along with offering young adults the opportunity to hone their writing skills and create their own work.

BabyCakes - A New Play by Leila Teitelman
Grieving parents attempt to face bereavement by attending local support meetings. Helen, a new addition to the group and a recent transplant, creates tension and raises suspicion within the well-established cohort when she refuses to open up about her past. The group must ultimately contend with their own feelings of discomfort while unearthing collective biases and deciding who is most deserving of their support. BabyCakes is an exploration of loss, birth, the hypocrisies of parenthood, and the death of loved ones.
